Welcome to the Bakels Group Conference 2025! All travel arrangements have been organised to ensure your arrival is smooth and straightforward.
✈️ Airport Arrivals

London Heathrow (LHR): The majority of delegates will arrive here. A professional driver will meet you in the arrivals hall with a Bakels sign and take you directly to your hotel.

Manchester Airport (MAN): A smaller number of delegates will arrive here.
💡 Top Tip: Keep this BGC WebApp accessible when you land. It contains all key Bakels contact details and emergency numbers, so you’ll have them ready if required.

English weather is famously unpredictable — bring layers, an umbrella, and sunglasses… sometimes all three at once.

Walking will be part of the experience, particularly around Oxford and Warwick Castle. (Cobblestones build character, but not great for high heels!)
🏰 Days and Destinations
Monday - final delegates arrive, pre-arranged 121 meetings and official welcome dinner in the evening.
Oxford – Malmaison Hotel - Stay in the stylish Malmaison, a boutique hotel in the heart of Oxford, blending history with modern comfort.
Oxford – Balliol College – Step inside one of Oxford’s oldest and most prestigious colleges, steeped in tradition and academic excellence, where an evening dinner will be served.
Tuesday - Spend a full day at BB Bicester with a site tour and strategy/product presentations, including an overview of Liverpool capabilities. The day concludes with a coach transfer to Warwick Castle Hotel, where an evening meal will be served.
Bicester – British Bakels Granville Way & NDC
Explore our Granville Way facility and the National Distribution Centre, showcasing the scale and efficiency of our network.
Wednesday - Coaches will collect guests for a short transfer to the British Motor Museum, hosting the opening half-day of the conference. The afternoon offers optional one-to-one sessions or time to explore the museum. Coaches will then return guests to Warwick Castle Hotel for a free evening.
Warwick Castle - Experience over 1,100 years of history at one of England’s most iconic castles, complete with grand halls and medieval charm.
Warwickshire – British Motor Museum - Discover the fascinating history of the British automotive industry with a world-class collection of iconic vehicles.
Thursday - Quick coach transfer for day 2 (full day) of conference. Return to Warwick castle for free evening.
Friday – Safari Day – Out on the road in Lemmington and Coventry visiting key customers, with lunch provided during the day. Return to Warwick Castle by 4:00 pm for final one-to-one meetings, followed by a farewell dinner in the castle.
