Purpose and Audience

This Site is for internal use only. It provides information, resources, and community features to support those attending the BGC event. Public registration and external access are not permitted.

Use of Uploaded Media

By uploading or submitting any images, videos, or other media content to this Site (including via the community feed), you grant British Bakels Ltd and its affiliates a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to:

  • Use your content in internal communications and event recaps

  • Feature your content in future BGC promotional materials

  • Reproduce or share your content on internal platforms or printed materials

 

You confirm that you have the rights to share any content you upload and that it does not infringe on the rights of others.

 

If you do not wish for your photo or content to be used in this way, please refrain from uploading media and notify the event team at app@bakels.com.

Data Retention & Privacy

All information submitted to Bakels.app (including media uploads, profile details, and event interactions) will be retained for up to 12 months after the event. After this period, it will be securely deleted.

 

British Bakels Ltd complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and relevant EU data protection laws.

Event Information Disclaimer

All event-related information on this website (including schedules, locations, speakers, and amenities) is subject to change before or during the event. While we strive to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee all details will remain up to date in real time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content

  • Upload media you do not have rights to

  • Misrepresent your identity or role within the company

  • Attempt to interfere with the functionality or security of the Site

  • Misuse built-in AI assistant. 

We reserve the right to moderate or remove any content that violates these rules.

Security and Access

Certain features of the Site may require authentication or login. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and not sharing them with unauthorised individuals. Any misuse of login details may result in restricted access.
